Programs & Activities (2023–24)
Public Health Initiatives
Organized 48 seminars and 24 workshops motivating 3,530 women and marginalized individuals. Partnered with the Red Crescent Society to immunize 1.75 million people against Hepatitis-B. Conducted 72 health workshops, trained 750 children, 1,820 women, and 1,500 men. Promoted Yoga, Ayurveda, and the “Mission Giloy.”
Vocational & Entrepreneurship Development
72 entrepreneurship seminars, computer training programs leading to self-employment, SHG and farmer club formation in 72 villages. Facilitated patenting and marketing of artisan products under ODOP, benefiting 500 artisans.
Women’s Empowerment
Organized 72 health and development camps, formed 15 SHGs, conducted campaigns against female foeticide and HIV/AIDS. Supported rape victims through district criminal relief board.
Literacy & Legal Advocacy
Literacy programs for illiterate youth, legal literacy, consumer protection advocacy, Lok Adalats, and active participation in Juvenile Justice Board handling 50 cases in 2023–24.
Agriculture & Environment
Promoted scientific farming, exotic vegetables, medicinal plants, Giloy nursery, free plantations, and tree plantation drives. Farmer clubs trained in organic fertilizers and crop insurance schemes.
Cultural & Disaster Management
Monthly cultural events, disaster preparedness mock drills, nutrition awareness campaigns benefiting women and children, and social security enrolments for elderly, widows, and disabled.
